Karen enjoyed her Mother’s Day.

Katie Beth made Karen a stepping stone with a hand print decorated with stars and moons. Katie Beth painted a card for her grandmother and mother with flowers on the front and all sorts of things on the inside.

In school, Katie Beth made Karen a card in Spanish class. In religious education class at church, Katie Beth made Karen a card with a mesh bath sponge as the head of a flower on the card. It has very cute. Godmomma Allison even took Katie Beth shopping for a card for Karen. So, Karen received a lot of cards this year.

We had my parent’s over for lunch and Katie Beth had fun giving grandmother and Karen their cards. She explained all of the drawings to them.

I had been worried about making Karen’s day just right. She said it had been wonderful at the end of the day.

The weather is great with morning. Karen is leading our hiking.

Katie Beth is dragging due to the lack of sleep.

Katie Beth and I camped out in the treehouse. We put up some coverings over the openings to keep out Mosquitos

We had a good time at opening day. The weather was nice.

We should arrived earlier, because the place was packed. We couldn’t sit in “The Den” with our buddies. Karen and Katie Beth visited them throughout the game.

Katie Beth got to run the bases at the end of the game, too.

Huntsville Stars won 5 to 4 against the Tennessee Smokies.

We are having a wonderful time at Gulf Shores beach.

Katie Beth is playing with everyone. And, everyone is here given it is spring break.

Katie Beth is ready for the St. Patrick’s Day parade to start. She has already made some friends. We are standing in front of Karen and my old hang out the Kaffee Klatsch.

The weather is wonderful, but maybe a little too warm.

Katie Beth is was wool thread being made. The lady showed us all sorts of neat things about making threads.

The food being cooked the country kitchen smelled just too good.

We even made the walk down to the cross.

Hope called and asked what are we up to? She followed it with can I drop in?

Katie Beth was excited to see her Aunt Hope especially so unexpectedly.

Hope dropped into town just for a long weekend. I wish we could have visited more.
